Discover Guatemala’s rich coffee heritage on this Tour de la plantación de café con paseos a caballo, operado por Ash Travel Antigua. This authentic experience takes place at a historic coffee farm with over 150 years of history, home to the only Coffee Museum in Central America.

Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, you’ll learn the entire coffee-making process — from planting and harvesting to drying and export — all in a natural setting surrounded by tradition and scenic landscapes. The experience is enriched with an artisanal coffee tasting, allowing you to enjoy the flavors produced directly on the plantation.

To complete the experience, you’ll enjoy a relaxing horseback ride through the coffee fields, offering a peaceful way to take in the countryside while learning more about rural life in Guatemala.

Programa de la gira

  • 9:00 a.m. – Departure from Antigua
    Meet at the tour facilities and begin the journey toward the coffee plantation.

  • Panoramic Ride to the Plantation
    Travel through the picturesque surroundings of Antigua, arriving at the plantation after approximately 25 minutes.

  • Guided Coffee Plantation Tour
    Learn about coffee planting, harvesting, bean drying, and preparation for export. Enjoy an artisanal coffee tasting, with the option to ask about an additional tasting of artisanal coffee liqueur.

  • Horseback Riding Experience
    Enjoy a 30–45 minute horseback ride through the coffee plantations. Each horse is accompanied by its own handler to ensure safety and a calm, enjoyable experience.

  • 1:30 p.m. – Return to Antigua
    End of the tour.
